My test process:
I Used a Script to Rename 20 of my card folders.
(so I can recover the Older Files, In case the New files have changed, I can just restore the Older files )

in the iStripper App Select the same 20 cards, and Delete them.

Now with the 20 cards Selected, click on the Download menu Item at the bottom Menu.

Monitor the Network Speed.

When the 20 cards were completed,
Browse to the Models folder.
Sort the folders by Date.
Find the 1st of the 20 folders that was added.
Check the Properties of the Oldest File in that folders creation Date.
That is the Start time of the Downloads

Now find the Last cards folder, and check the Properties of the Last Files creation Date
That is the End time of the downloads.

Select All 20 of the card Folders and check the Properties.
This will show the total Bytes and Number of File in ALL 20 of the Folders.

Then do the Math based on the Duration, and Number of Bytes Downloaded.

I just conducted a Test.
I deleted 20 cards from the 'A' series of cards
Then re-Downloaded them.

I did not notice any Slowness in the Download Speed of these 20 cards, compared with the Download Speed of Current 'E' or 'F' Series cards.

The Speed was consistent over the entire 20 cards.
It stayed at close to 60% of my Internet Bandwidth speed.

I have a 100Mbps connection.
During the Download of the 20 'A' series cards, it maintained about 60Mbps speed.
Confirmed with both Task Manager's performance Tab
and Perormance Monitor
also Compared to the Download drop down of iStripper
( Although the iStripper drop down, is Byte based, Not Bit Based. )

Totem would have to confirm, but to me it sounds like a supply/demand algorithm. They have to dedicate bandwidth/resources to the places that need it the most, and for most people that's going to be on the newer cards. I can't fault them for the logic, but maybe they could tweak it, or increase the minimum speed (if I'm right about the reason, that is).

You need to go to settings, make sure advanced settings is checked.
Then, scroll down to 'Display' near the bottom.
Then, put a check mark to 'display clips list'.

Im sorry if this is off topic, but : Because I had to get a new hard drive I'm having to rebuild my collection. I found that in using the newest IStripper setup file my cards no longer have the ability to select which clips i can choose for using in my playlists. Is there a way to get that ability back? I like to create playlists using just the all nude clips. Am I missing some step?

Be sure to uncheck Allow file sharing (P2P) in the settings if you haven't done that already.

P2P is only used for the previews, not the full shows.

Only good and appreciated by me use of AI on this program would be for a revamping and upscaling of old shows.I completely second this. In my opinion, going through that path would add a huge additional value to the product.The only way this would be an economically responsible thing to do would be if the AI software was freeware or very cheap and totem had priority access to it so they could design it for their specific file type.(to protect against pirating). I find the drop in production, talent, and performance quality astounding from modern cards...(2024-2015) to pre-2015 cards. Most 720 cards only have a few full nudity clips, the girl rarely do anything interesting and almost none of them have any dancing skills. The scripting from the studio appears to be zero. The 720 cards can be "upscaled" on full screen to look decent but almost all old cards are fairly unwatchable. They may be decent for people that like 45 second clips over and over and over, and people who like posers who show hardly any nudity. Totem has really increased the value of the cards in terms of performance over the last 10 years, which has made those early 720 cards unwatchable...(IMO)

3k Is "watchable".. i dont like subscribtions but i reckon the 4k would be good. It would not be amazing or outstanding, it just would be great. 720p cards were obsolete in the beggining.

Almost every CRT monitor had 1080p and almost all LCD monitors also had 1080p making 720 shows low quality.

Now we are on 4k and 3k is not good enough. I dont think devs are in a hurry to raise the bar.

I have a new PC and when I try to download old cards say from the year 2011 to 2016, they are super slow to download. new cards install normally. Is there anything I can do on my settings to make getting older cards easier?

Have you set properly the volume of the sound by clicking on the icon at the bottom right of the GUI ?

Try to log out and log in with your actual user name and password. Then make a Rebuild my collection.
Check your Models path in the settings of the app. It must match with the actual location of your models files.

Right click on the girl playing and click on the big icon that looks like two vertical bars. Clicking this again (it will show as a play icon) resumes play.

If you do not see this on the wheel, then you need to add that in the settings. Go to settings. You may need to enable advanced settings. Scroll way down to 'Controls' and find 'contexual menu'. Some items can be added to or removed from the wheel (contexual menu).

I don't know if anyone at Totem has English language issues, but I think to know your post to have some mistakes.

If you look carefully in the account history (both on iS software AND on iS site!), only thing actually stated by company as a "purchase", being actually a purchase and involving your credit card, happens of course when you buy a credit pack.

Using bought credits then, both here on software or on site, you can (but this is not a real purchase and also is never registered on your credit card) just "add a card to your collection" which means that you get a license to watch it but you don't own it (see T&C).

Such license, in any case, has not been terminated - and if you go back to a laptop, or wherever you can download the iStripper software, all shows in your collection will be visible again at any time.

Returning user can't access old collection - had over 480 cards previously, now i can't find any of the VGHD or DB collections, the ones i was able to find on my purchase history require me to purchase them again?
