What do you folks think would be a reasonable offer for Sia Siberia's NFT ?

There doesn't seem to be a lot of trading going on at the moment for the other cards on OpenSea with prices varying quite a lot. I'd love to see a nice liquid market with low trading costs.

Was it even released? Thre's not a lot of interest in trading those cards at all, is there?

EDIT: I saw it's slated for release next week.

Anything above a few bucks is too much, IMO.

You are asking people to show their hand up front - anybody serious about buying the card will not do that.

If you go to the Dolz.IO site you will see the following

What is the minimum bidding amount per rarity level to obtain a trading card?
Legendary: 1000 DOLZ
Epic: 400 DOLZ
Rare: 300 DOLZ
Limited: 200 DOLZ

What we do not know yet is how many cards will be released at each level.

Increase each Bid by 10% of the 1st Bid.

I think the 10% increase per Bid is Much too High !!
for a Legendary card,
by the 200th card / Bid, it will cost 20000 Dolz or $200 at the current DOLZ price.

A bid Increase of 1% or 2% per bid is more likely to create More bidding.

For a Limited edition card,
By the 1000th card / Bid it is 20180 Dolz or $202 at the current DOLZ price

If that were the case, then every bid after the 1st bid would all be the same.
Till All the cards are sold.

one bid of the minimum, followed by 999 bids of Minimum plus 10%

Unless Each Biders Bid is Separate, and to Increase your Own bid, it must be 10% higher then your previous Bid.
Then that Moves you up or down the current list of High Bidders?

Let's keep it simple. Imagine there are 100 "limited" cards available. 100 people bid - 90 bid the 200 dolz minimum and 10 bid 210 Dolz (because they are keen). At this stage, all will win and pay the amount they bid (90@200 and 10@210)

Now - 10 of the original 200 Dolz bidders decide to re-bid to improve their chances. They must now bid 10% above their original bid so each of them now must bid 220 Dolz.

So we now have 10 at 220, 10 at 210 and 80 at 200.

Now 10 more new people decide to bid at 210. This gives us 110 bidders for 100 cards, so we will have 10 at 220, 20 at 210 and we will have to lose 10 of the bidders at 200 so that we have 70 at 200. How the system decides which 10 of the bidders at 200 will lose out, I do not know (maybe the most recent bidders).

So you could win by bidding the minimum amount but it is a risky ploy if you really want that card. Put in a higher initial bid to get yourself into the winning group.

I am fascinated to see it working. I will be bidding on a select set of cards that really take my fancy - a combination of the girl and the outfit.

I think you guys are overthinking it. The minimum bid amount is the minimum for making the next bid on the card. Say the current bid price of a legendary card is 3000, to make the next bid you have to bid 4000 or more.

Wow - just a few days to go and there seems to be a lot of ***** on how the auction might work. Hope it all gets cleared up in time.

Each Bid you make is it's own Progress, and has no affect by your Other Bids.
To Increase an Existing Bid, you have to Increase it by at Least 10% of the Minimum Bid Amount.
To Add a New Bid, it is not affected by any of your Previous Bid. You can Make a New bid for Any amount you want,
as long as it is Equal to or Higher then the Minimum starting bid.

I suspect that this first auction is "testing the water" - seeing how people react. Each of us will have different ideas of how to play this, what strategy we are going to adopt. Whether we are successful, we will have to wait and see.

I can understand the small quantity of Legendary, Epic, and Rare versions
But there should be many More of the Limited version.
Enough so that every bidder would be able to own one.

@Philours - I sincerely hope that @Wyldanimal has misinterpreted something he read, because I agree with you - a second round would destroy consumer confidence in the process and if I had paid big in what I thought was the totality of the auction, I would be seeking redress.
