Is it possible that a bug is causing the app to take me to the first page, if someone else posted since I opened the thread?

No, it's always some random automatic download over it. It's only after sign in though. The easy solution is to never log out, which is what I normally do but in the spirit of beta testing, I did it anyway. 😄

With version 1.2.5.14 toggling between Cards View and Thumbnail View resets the Sort By and Order By options so I have to manually put them back to my preferred settings, Date Of Purchase and Descending, each time I change the basic view.

Not good... hope it's fixed as soon as possible.

Good news!

• the app is remembering when I have a year(s) chosen as a filter
• no problem with a full download of yesterday's card
• no problem with an update of a somewhat older card
• cards downloaded on an external drive, if updated, will be remembered there, and not downloaded elsewhere
• eleven cards I now have hidden are fully visible in the hidden cards collection (no blurring)

I downloaded a full (new) card. pink color
I updated another somewhat older card. same exact pink color.

I am talking about the downloads area at the bottom right.

I do wish one thing:

the app would remember where I have stashed my playlists

It only remembers until I download a bonus video.
Then it forgets the playlists and remembers the bonus videos.
It always remembers the location of downloaded bonus videos. Why not also the playlists?
Every time I download a bonus video, and then create a new playlist or open one already existing, I have to search my computer (browser) for the playlists folder.

However, we have decided to make this version available to all in order to collect as much as possible datas from our new users.I think that is a mistake - at least in the way that it has been done. When you click on the download button (now at the bottom-right corner of the screen in 512 / 514, if you are downloading a show, the colour of the progress bar differs depending upon what is being downloaded - you get a red progress bar for a new card (first time you are downloading it), green if you are updating a previously downloaded card and blue for a preview.

I use the basic skin so I cannot say if using another skin will affect it.

I would change that by changinf one word, in my opinion it is not a relatively risky strategy, it is a very risky strategy !

There are at least two problems

1 - The risk that there may be an unsuspected but significant bug.

2 - The general ***** it brings, in particular making the term Beta Release mean even less to naive users than it currently does.

I have no problems in making a beta release available to everyone, including brand new users, but it should be something that they actively opt into using after being told the implications thereof and it should not be the default version for anybody - especially new users.

Concerning colors of the download bar

Sort by Release Date is very useful in the My Collection.

All of the "removed" cards in the collection now appear altogether either at the beginning or the end of the collection dependent on whether you sort ascending or descending.

It sort of makes up for the "unknown" release date having been removed from the filters.😊

I deleted the entire post, so that I could put up all three images again, where one of them was not edited completely.

It is excellent that the app still keeps my bonus video downloads showing (listed) in the downloads. (that is until I click to delete one)
Bummer that 'remove all' no longer exists so it is impossible to remove all items at once.

Not so good that it simply never remembers my playlists location AFTER downloading a bonus video.

I tried again just now. I downloaded a bonus video. Later, I went to my collection. Then, I clicked 'playlists' on the right side. Then, I clicked to 'insert playlist' and I get to the location for the bonus videos.
Playlists is elsewhere.

I have a custom skin and the color of the progress bar is blue for preview downloads and red for full show downloads. I don't have an update so couldn't test that one.

You can click 'update' on any card. It does not necessarily need to say 'update' on it.
I updated a bunch of cards while testing some stuff. None of these cards had the 'update' tag.

Never click 'update' on any removed card. You may lose the card animation files. Unless backed up, they will be gone.

Ok, in that case update progress bar is still red.

Also tried deleting previews of a card then checking it for updates which makes it download them again as an update. Still red progress bar. Might just be for me though and it's a ***** thing. 😕

Some of the custom skins I have will change the color of the download progress bar but not the preview download progress bar.

My problem (not a real problem) may be that I had no cards to update, when i updated several different cards, maybe one or two twice.
I rebuilt my collection and found I now have just one new card but no updates.
Do not click to rebuild the collection if you are a rather impatient person. You will need to let the app do its business, which will vary depending on the size of the collection. Mine takes a few minutes.

As you will see in a discussion on this in Discord (prompted by the questions from JonC001 in Discord), It looks like the system views any action you take to update a card is viewed as being a fresh download. It will only be recognised as an update if the update flash is shown across the card image and the update has been driven by the post-production team.

Whether that is planned or accidental - I will leave that up to the team to explain 😊

I forget to mention one thing I noticed hours back.
If on the 'home' page, the banner can be increased in heights.
There is a small icon (two arrows pointing toward {or away from} each other). When this is clicked the current banner can be toggled between two heights. The width does not change, at least for me.

As @pickle1 mentioned, the colors of the downloads is as such:

• If there's an "Update" tag on a card (green sticker with the default skin), the download bar is green
• If you're downloading a Preview (whether manually or automatiquely), the download bar is blue
• Any other download (new card, card you already downloaded but then deleted, bonus video etc.) is red

Also, there is no "Remove All" button anymore as downloads are automatically removed from the window when they're finished.

If the app performs a rebuilding collection during startup it would be helpful if a message to that effect were to be displayed on the splash screen (this being in addition to the spinning "busy" indicator on the systray icon). This would let all users know what is going on rather than just those that know what the easily overlooked spinning,icon means.

Correct me if I'm wrong, what you reported here is only a display problem. The music correctly plays but the first time they're added, they're not checked in the Music tab while you would expect them to, is that right?

Actually, the bonus video downloads are not automatically removed from the list upon completion. They stay in the list until manually removed or the app is closed.

Nobody cares that the "_custom.jpg" images are no longer kept as desired?
The app should not be replacing the "_custom.jpg" images. Has anyone else even noticed this?

This is the biggest thing for me. I created a custom image for each of the SECs I do not own. I expect to continue to see the custom image for the SECs. Instead the app changes them.

If this cannot or will not be changed, then I will need to revert back to version 12376.
