I'm from the USA
I couldn't take part in the early Rounds
so my Dolz Purchases are counted separate, not as part of a distribution account.

I'm pretty sure I'll never own any DOLZ and I'm not even sure I'll ever refill my credits again, but I have to admit I do find the whole thing interesting.

So when you go to buy DOLZ it's priced in dollars? I thought you purchased DOLZ with ETH; does it just use dollars to buy ETH and then use that ETH to bur your DOLZ? OpenSea looks to be ETH and not dollars?

And this leads me to valuation? Are credits and eventually actual NFT shows based on dollars, ETH, or straight up DOLZ? It looks like DOLZ has almost lost half it's value this year to date going from .024 to .013 (2.4 to 1.3 basis points) so depending on what the actual is you can buy twice as many credits or half as many credits with DOLZ you held year to date?

In other words if it takes $100 worth of DOLZ to buy 1000 IS credits today does that mean the dollar cost will fluctuate as the value of DOLZ goes up and down? Meaning the same 1000 IS credits would have cost closer to $200 in the beginning of the year?

I wish it wasn't happening but it is interesting none the less.

I was in Round 2, but I also got the biggest amount of tokens from Totem, winning in the crew3 quests.
I don't see any transfers with my wallet address under On-Chain Activity.

That's not true, listing price was 0.012$ and the price went up after ***** the unsold tokens from the presales. Later the price went down again, after lots of people could claim their tokens from Presale 1 and 2, after vesting time.
The price you mention above was a month after listing.

Hello everyone! A couple of question: What‘s the difference between Polygon Mainnet and Polygon network and which one is used for Dolz? I accidentaly set my network to Polygon mainnet, but I think that it isn’t ‘the right one, as all screenshots in GitBook show Polygon Network. It didn’t help that nowhere in GitBook it is stated to which of the two Polygon networks we should set our wallet to. Unfortunately I can not find an option to switch to Polygon Network from Polygon Mainnet. Can anyone please help? Or doesn‘t it matter which network we use for our Dolz transactions?

Perhaps I should add: My Dolz transaction via Polygon Mainnet went fine, I succesfully could buy istripper credits, but I am worring that for future activites like staking etc. my wallet is set to the wrong network. Sorry … total crypto noob here … 😬

Sometimes called network.
They are one in the same.

Buy credits with Dolz.
The credit packs are priced in Dollars.
When you purchase
You pay the current exchange rate
Of Dolz to Dollars.
So as the value of Dolz fluctuates
The number of Dolz needed to purchase the package changes.

If you bought $100.00 worth of Dolz early for 0.008
You got 12,500 Dolz for your $100

Now you want the $99.99 package.
And the current price of Dolz is 0.016
You need $99.99 worth of Dolz
Or 6,249.375 Dolz or 1/2 of the amount you have.
Then you are effectively getting the package for a 50% discount.

Okay, thanks. Then I can assume that "Polygon Mainnet" and "Polygon Network" are the same and Metamask just shows two different names for the same thing when chosing the network.

There are two ways to add a Network to your wallet.

1) Search finds a Popular Network and you can add it by just selecting it.
it's name is what has been assigned to it.

2) Manually add a network, and you Give it your Own Name.

Early on in the process,
Polygon Mainnet was not there to Select, and you had to add it Manually.

Later it became available to Select in the search.

So I suspect the one Called Polygon Network was added Manually and that is the Name it was given.
and the One below called Polygon Mainnet is the same, but it's the one that you can add just by selecting it.

The Important thing is: you use the correct Contract String, and the Correct website address.

What Name is given and appears in your Wallet, is just for your own recognition.

since you Mention that, then your Wallet and your Polygon Mainnet or Network are working they way they should.
What Name is Displayed is not the Important part.
The RPC URL and the Chain ID and the Currency Symbol are what really matters.

there are Two you can use.
one is the Automatically added RPC URL

So as you say the price or value of DOLZ fluctuates and the cost of credits does not; then how does the dollar cost of per credit NOT vary? Today $100 will buy 7,073 DOLZ meaning you should need less dollars to buy enough DOLZ to buy an equal number of credits that you used in your DOLZ at 0.016 example.

If $100 worth of DOLZ always buy the same number of credits then either the price of credits is varying in value to match the current DOLZ price or the value of DOLZ is really irrelavent. It you are holding DOLZ (of NFTs) then it would make a difference becuase while new money will always buy the same amount of credits, DOLZ in your wallet will increase or decrease in value .. right?

I just went to take a look and I no longer have an option to buy credits with DOLZ? Not sure if thats just me but I had it yesterday? In anycase, I can't look to see if the price or offer is updating but it seems like it shoud be?

I don't want to keep rehashing this but this statement seem to imply that for $249.99 USD I can buy enough DOLZ to get 3000 credits plus the 750 Bonus.

Assuming I'm reading this correctly then it means the price of DOLZ is meaningless; it doesn't matter if DOLZ are worth 1.0 or 0.0001 based on the above statement? $249 gets me 3750 credits no matter the price of DOLZ.

This means the price of credits are not based on DOLZ but actually dollars. 100 credits is not 7179 or 7082 of DOLZ; it is actually whatever it cost to buy $99 any given momentnt in time so if one day you have enough DOLZ in your wallet to buy 100 credits today then tommorow you might have enough DOLZ to buy more or less than 100 credits.

If it were actually based on DOLZ (100 credits cost X amount of DOLZ) then I might be tempted to buy in if DOLZ value crashed to a very low value but if the price of DOLZ isn't relative it wouldn't make a difference and I sure wouldn't want to hold them as some sort of 'store of value.'

Whom bought DOLZ when their value was much lower.
We will see a Higher Return from our low initial DOLZ investment.

If the DOLZ in your wallet were bought at a lower price than the current price
Then it is to your advantage to purchase credits
Using DOLZ with or without the 25% bonus.

Can buy $99.99 package of credits using

I have to say that once you have everything set up, it is quite easy to use DOLZ for buying credits ... and it is by far the cheapest way to buy credits right now!

Even people, who didn't participate in the presale, can take advantage of minimal price differences for DOLZ (buy DOLZ when DOLZ/$ is low, spend when exchange rate is higher).

So with € 100.- (effectively only € 95.- because of coinbase fees), I could take advantage of the huge 1100 (+275) credits package. I just had to wait one day for the exchange rate to rise from 0,013 to 0,014 DOLZ/$ for covering my loss in Coinbase and gas fees.

One thing I highly recommend though is setting up a Coinbase account and directly buying MATIC on Coinbase, then send them to your Metamask. Moonpay and other billers are just too expensive (and unreliable in my experience).

I wasn't trying to understand your investment; while I think the word investment is probably not the right word I am happy for you. So long as there is something you want to buy and the value stays *****

I was trying to understand what the valuations of USD vs DOLZ vs credits and how they tracked each other.

In the end if I understand your examples then I think you are saying you agree that my undertanding is correct? The answer is dollars to credits is fixed and the value of DOLZ is adjusted as needed to buy the needed credits. So as long as you spend the DOLZ on credits as soon as you buy them the price of DOLZ is meaningless.

But in your case if you bought them cheap at (0,008) and help them you can buy the same credits with the current DOLZ conversion so you can buy more. The guy(s) that bought them at (0.020) are the opposite so the same credits will not cost them more.

I don't know what the shows are going to cost and if they will actually be valued in DOLZ or dollar adjusted DOLZ but if there are enough shows and they are cheap enough (in actual USD) then I might break down and open a wallet. But I'm really hoping I wont have too.

You're correct in saying, that if you Buy DOLZ in the Present time, Just to get the Credit Package, then the Dollar Value of the DOLZ has no impact on the cost of the Package.
All you are doing is Exchanging Dollars for DOLZ, and then DOLZ for Credits.

However, there are small Losses and Fee's for each Exchange.

Again,
for Members like yourself who do not have a wallet and have not invested in DOLZ at a lower Dollar Value.
The Only Incentive to open a Wallet and Buy DOLZ so you can use DOLZ for Credits, is the 25% bonus credits.

And soon, the Incentive for some to create a Wallet and Buy DOLZ, will be
to be able to Bid on the DOLZ NFT cards.

Hi guys, bought DOLZ in first round, now its time to claim them. If I try to claim, its asking me to pay around 10€ for claiming 3650Dolz from my Etherium account. Is this correct or do I miss anything

@876hy9i5 Hello, It looks quite dear. It might be better to wait a bit for the costs to drop. ( at other times of the day or to wait until tomorrow or in a couple of day)

You can also wait a few months to claim directly 20, 30, 40, 60% of your tokens to pay the fees only once

Ideally, you should claim 30% in April or 40% in May, pay 2/3$ of fees.
Bridge your tokens from ETH to polygon ($4.5 bridge) then you will have your tokens on polygon and you will pay almost 0 fee. 😉
