On topic? Well iCosplay's latest card is here, featuring Lya Missy wearing that terrible wig. To me the whole outfit makes her utterly unattractive, but I guess cosplay fans (i.e. the majority of clients here apparently) will adore this show, be it only because it's cosplay if nothing else. I'm not *****, mind you: I'm saving a little money by not buying those shows, so it's all good as long as others get their fix.

I have to admit that the costume and hair don't put me off. I do like the boots. I only wish she was also wearing fishnet stockings. That would go well with the theme of the costume.

Could we get back to real life and stop making Halloween of every show, and more specificly of VR shows. I'm getting sick of this cosplay all year long. Pretty sure I'm speaking for many of us here.

I speak for many here, it's just that the others keep their mouth shut. 😄😄

Just take a look at her ratings today for her card with this outfit and ugly wig.
Not a lot of comments but just low ratings.

My main problem with buying this card is that after say 3 minutes or so, I suspect she will be lying naked on the couch doing the exactly the same thing as in my Lya Missy 1 card. So I don't see a reason to spen 30 credit for the same thing. At least fishnet stockings (or indeed any stockings) would give me a reason to take the plunge.

The wig isn't an issue for me. Indeed, it is one of the few things that will at least be different from card 1 once you get to the xxx scenes.

To be fair, I don't regard this costume as pure cosplay. It is an unconventional goth-like costume, but I would not recognise it as a spacific fictional character if I wasn't told who it was.

Also Lya has a regular card with exactly the same costume. So it's just one of the shows churned out as part of day to day production.

All VR shows have their card with the outfit. The filename of the VR show when you download it contains the card number. Sometimes the card take some time to come out but the card always follow a VR show.

Go onto the Internet and look for pictures from the film "Cruella".

You will see the outfit there - so it IS cosplay.

Fair enough, but it is hardly an immediately recognisable costume like say spiderman or Princess Leia. Indeed, she doesn't look anything like the Cruella that I would picture in my imagination.

I think it's a bit unfair to criticise this specific costume. In my opinion, some of the other outfits are far worse than this one. But in that case I will just ignore them and not buy the show.

In the end, there will be some we like and some we dislike on an individual level. And this one was not used specifically for VR. it seems this one has been singled out.

I think negative comments about the costume would have more impact in the review section of the regular card, as production of the regular card is the reason she was she was given that costume.

Et moi qui voulais de présenter Humbert Humbert, c'est plutôt mal barré!😆

As I mentioned above, all VR shows have their card that comes with them later on.

Reviews don't really reflect what people think about because if you don't like the outfit at first glance you won't buy the card, then you won't be able to make negative a review about the outfit. Mostly those people who make reviews it's because they are impressed. The negative reviews are only from those who are pissed off enough to take the time to speak out.

There are numerous examples of people buying things such as the Advent Calendar (or similar) and then deliberately giving low ratings to cards that they say they wouldn't have bought.

I wouldn't trust the ratings system as far as I could throw it, even if it it said I was old, short, fat and ugly with a tiny dick😄

The wig obviously says Cruella, and the rest is an interpretation of that character. Pure cosplay, I believe. But I don't really care whether it's cosplay or not, I care whether the outfits are silly/ridiculous/tacky/ugly or not. In this case, the outfit is meh, except for the wig that's awful.

Exactly, spot on! The exception to this is the Advent calendar and other such schemes, where people get all cards and might be tempted to post a negative review for cards they don't like. In that case I don't give a rating for cards I wouldn't have bought, but I don't restrain myself from commenting if something is particularly silly, for instance.
