@Alkasyn wrote "French models might cost more for the same content, but they show less in the end, so their rate should be cheaper."
I missed this thread. Has this been proven? Or is this just an observed opinion? It is an interesting research proposal.
:)
Some cards with a higher price have been here on Istripper for years. I personally prefere the company doing it this way, by far, than doing a generalized price raise.I agree, simply well said, @HansSachs
It is possible, but not always........Marica's card f0680 higher price is correctly reported on @lukaszr 's site, though
Here is an added question of value...
How much has the base price changed over the years. (forget discount)
25 credits today and 25 credits 3 years ago..... not equal. 15 years ago?
What is the history of the base prices?
From the July 2008 web site

How much are the girls?
Price differs from one girl to another, revolving around $5.
There is a $2 Special Offer for girls that appear in your calendar in the option box of the software.
If you buy the girls one by one, you'll be charged at each purchase. If you choose to get a membership, you will be charged every 30, 90 or 180 days from the day you originally subscribed. Ex: you initially subscribed on January 15th for 30 days, then you will be automatically rebilled on February 15th unless you cancel before.
In 2008...
There was also a Membership for $14.95
That gave you 1 new random card every day
That dropped the price to $0.50 per card
And Almost put Totem out of Business...

but wasn't the membership basically a rental? If you quit, you lost all of your girls. Sort of like at least one of the current music streaming services. I never joined because I wanted to own my cards forever.
What would happen in the ***** case that Totem did go out of business. Would we be able to continue to play the cards that we have purchased over the years on the last client released by Totem?

@MrHouse you're right, the only concert would be if Totem closes. If it ever happen, it won't be an overnight thing and we'll be able to release a version with no protections (there is no garanty that we would do that, but if you look at our ethics and what we did the past 12 years, odds are good). If such a version would not be released by us, someone esle would either create a player (see what happen to DVD on Linux) or hack the latest version and remove that protection. The only reason hacked versions like that don't surface today is because we keep inovating (software, quality etc), if we ever stop, then it won't be hard to find the lastest version with no protection.
I hope this answers your concerns, the last thing I want is for you to worry about keeping your collection. Let's talk about it again in another 12 years and see at how many girls we have then ;)
