A lot of times I like to have a show playing down in the corner of my desktop while I am working. It annoys me to no end to see the clip interrupted by a scene of the dancer getting bored or annoyed at me and sometimes waving to get my attention. Is there any way to disabel these? I tried adjusting the full sized desktop shows down to their smallest size thinking that would keep those clips from playing, but it's still about twice as big as I want it to be on my screen.

I may be wrong, but I think the only way to disable transition clips of a card from "Small size" play (on "Full size" they are disabled by default, instead) to be deleting them from card's directory.

I think @HansSachs is correct. The clips you don't like are the ones with _it08_ in their name.

I went to the AppData\Local\vghd\models directory and did a search for _it08_ and only found one instance of a file with that in the name, despite running into those animations with several models. Perhaps there's another name used as well? Is it all _itXX_ files or all _XX08_ files?

I think they files you might want to get rid of are all *itXX* ones. I may be wrong, though, so please wait until someone else confirms it.

If you delete the 'itXX' clips, a card in small mode only plays one clip and then skips to another, because the transitions between clips are missing.

I've researched this rather carefully. I have some code that tells me which clip is playing and all the "I'm waiting for you, pick me." clips are coded _it08_ . You only need to delete those clips, but they won't stay deleted if you rebuild your collection or the card is updated.

Actually, I'm on the other side of this issue from you. I like these clips so much that I've made a playlist of just these clips. I used my Playlist Generator to do this because you can make a playlist of it clips using the iStripper application.

OK, I'm missing something somewhere because here's the show I'm watching, and the Playlist generator and the file folder both fail to show a file with _it08_ in it, and I even made sure to screencap (and properly censor) the show as the animations were happening.

So what am I missing here?

Thanks but considering the files are not actually in the folder, I don't think it's a bug of the Playslist Generator. I was just using that to cover all bases to show that the file with _it08_ isn't showing up even though the animation is.

OK, I made a thread in the general Bugs & Fixes area here:

since this no longer seems to be a simple "choose this option to disable these" like I had originally assumed there would be.

@LanceColbert

I see what you're talking about, the only thing I could come up with is that @Totem probably labeled that clip with another _it_ number.

My apologies, the "I'm waiting for you, pick me." clips are coded _it01_. The clip you don't like is e0450_it01_38912301.vghd.

My earlier post was incorrect. The _it08_ clips are very rare and are talking clips in a few f series cards only.

The Playlist Generator can tell you what clip is currently playing. First, be sure that iStripper is set to play just one card at a time in small mode. Then, in the Playlist Generator click the Show Playing button on the Configuration and I/O Control tab. This will open a dialog that will show the model, card and clip being played.

I agree that Totem should provide users with more controls over the playing of transition clips.

OK, I will now attempt to plug the hair back into my head that I have been pulling out all day! ;)

I have deleted all of the _it01_ files. Hopefully this does the trick! Thanks for the help!

I would like nothing more than a checkbox in the settings to deactivate these, for me, annoying transition clips. A simple checkbox [X]. Very simple. No complicated algorithm to calculate the survival chances of Schrödinger's cat.

@LanceColbert To my knowledge you'll have to delete all clips with "itXX" in the name followed by any number, not only "it01" &/or "it08".

I don't mind transitions. I like the spins and whatnot. I just get annoyed at the "Look at me! Look over here! Pay attention to me!" clips. I am paying attention. I just have them small on my screen because I'm also supposed to be working.

I know what you meant @LanceColbert. I just used the generic term "transition clips", which includes all _ITxx_ clips.
When I run the gals in max desktop size, I don't miss any of them. But yes, that "look at me..." doohickeys are pretty much the most annoying. Just unchecking them would be enough.

The transition clips (it clips) have only been around since the end of 2014, when Series E started. In the F series, this file came later.

The transition clips are played between two clips as if they were a sequence. When clips and transition clips are played depends on the coding of the respective clips.
But there are also individual clips that have no transition to other clips.

Each clip can only be contained once in a sequence. The transition clips can occur multiple times in the sequence.

There are transition clips with the file extensions DEMO and VGHD.
The DEMO clips are "not naked" transition clips.
The VGHD clips are "naked" transition clips.

it01 = wait
it04 = fall
it05 = hanging (at the window or the mouse)
it06 = go right
it07 = go left
it10 = sit down
it11 = revolves around itself and is tightened
it12 = stand up
it13 = after fall sit down
The transition clips with it11 are only VGHD clips.

it08 = Hallo clips; only in combination with scene files
The it08 clips can only be found in a few series F shows.

I found clips in four shows where the model shows a sign that says "BUY ME".

Yes! These are them. I've deleted these and now I can enjoy the show!
