How many "cards" does it take to get ratings?
1 card = bronze
xx cards = whatever is next
and so forth?

The "stars" reflect the number of cards in your collection:

1-9 = Bronze
10-39 = Silver
40-99 = Gold
100+ = Platinum

Mods = Blue
Team = Purple

At the moment these are only "honorary" grades but in the future Totem plan for special "perks" for higher level members. :)

What do you mean about change raiting "stars" ?

for example :

1-9 = Bronze

200+ = Fun

Just one thought... 1 year from now lots of people will have 500+ cards... what will they have on their star? ;)

Maybe Totem best save the next level a while...? ...and try to find some "perks" for the existing levels first :)

I think now is the time of change rating stars on members, because too much black colour everywhere in this site lately (and it getting worst day by day)!!!
Because I know that you'll start immediately stragling your brain to find objections, here's a plan of 8+ years for rating members:

1 - 30 Bronze level 1
31 - 60 Bronze level 2
61 - 100 Bronze level 3

101 - 160 Silver level 1
161 - 220 Silver level 2
221 - 300 Silver level 3

301 - 420 Gold level 1
421 - 540 Gold level 2
541 - 700 Gold level 3

701 - 1000 Platinum level 1
1001 - 1300 Platinum level 2
1301 - 1600 Platinum level 3

1601 - 2000 Diamond level 1
2001 - 2500 Diamond level 2
2501 - 3000 Diamond level 3

The round marks with bronze, silver, gold etc colours, instead of the white star inside them, they gonna have the numbers 1, 2 or 3 to indicate the levels.

After 3000, the level can be raised to 4, 5 etc or those members to be indicated as... stock holders!!!

No objections just reflections ;) As it is now the stars are meaningless* and unless Totem give them some real meaning I personally think they could drop the whole idea of different levels of membership.

Also consider there are over 700'000 registered and only a very very few of those are Platinum members. Hmm... I guess it's the Platinum ones that post the most ;)

Point being: No need to make big changes until the different levels actually comes with different "content" or "perks" :)

percentages would be a better way to go then you don't have to mess around with the numbers
