The last few weeks I have been looking at the times that the shows are supposed to be playing because when I was playing all the clips from a new show it was finished earlier as expected.
Today I added up the times from the latest duo card..
It is should be 41 minutes ..
I added all the cliptimes up and the final score was 36,183333.
Are there typo's in the clip list or is something else going a bit wrong/off ?
BTW .. I checked this time twice to be very sure...
Do I have to change something in the settings or is it something else..

In this case, it's really possible and true transition clips to have a total duration of even 5 minutes? And, in other cases, even much more? I still suspect that many show time indications are wrong.
In any case, I DON'T am happy at all about this indication system. Being the transition clips not directly playable by us, and being they even invisible when a card is played in full size or in fullscreen mode, show duration should in my opinion indicate just the total timing of ordinary clips, without adding the transition ones.

@Team Make it possible for us buyers/payers of the Transition clips to play them seperately in small size, in full size and fullscreen mode. Now I don't have any command on them.
Being the transition clips not directly playable by us, and being they even invisible when a card is played in full size or in fullscreen mode, show duration should in my opinion indicate just the total timing of ordinary clips, without adding the transition ones.I totally agree with this.

Totem stores the total number of frames in a card in the XML file for that card with a tag of "<duration>". The software calculates the card's play time assuming a frame rate of 25 fps which is correct for the older cards, but the e&f series cards are supposed to have a frame rate of 30 fps.
The duration for card f0437 is 61896. At 25 fps that would be 41,264 minutes. At 30 fps that would be 34,386666. As you said, the total of the clip times is 2171 seconds or 36,18333 min. This works out to be 28,5 fps. There are no transition clips in this f series card.
By the way, you can make a playlist with transition clips that will ***** those clips to play. You have to do it manually or you can use my Playlist Generator. Most, but not all transition clips can be commanded with a playlist.

I've just discovered the opposite problem. As I said about a month ago the total number of frames for a card is stored in it's XML file as <duration>. Knowing the frame rate of a card should let us calculate its duration. Till now I've assumed that all "a" series cards had a frame rate of 25 fps. I've just discovered that quite a number of "a" series cards seem to have a frame rate of 30 fps.
For example card a0723 shows a playtime of 55 minutes and the total of its clip times is 55.63 min. That's great, but its duration is 99101 which at 30 fps is 55.056 min. It would appear that this old card had a frame rate of 30 rather than 25 and the software uses the correct frame rate to calculate total play time. Just the opposite of the case that started this tread!
The following 720p cards also seem to have a 30 fps frame rate:
