I was unable to locate the answer, why is this card more expensive than the norm?

I'm going to be very cynical and suggest that it's because Totem know that while most people will want this card, some will REALLY want this card and willing to pay the price because omfg-its-harley-quinn-cosplay.

Ok . . I will bite . . . WHY would I want this card so badly?? If it is the costume (cosplay), I would have thought the batgirl costume or the ***** Bill costume would have cost a lot more that this costume. If I am going to be expected to pay more every time a girls card has a special name even though the costume is not something that cost Totem a lot of money, well I just don't know what to think of this.

To be honest I didn't even look at the price, I just bought it, like I have done with all the 3K cards.

I'm not really into cosplay a lot and if it wasn't for some of the comments on these forums I wouldn't know who Harley Quinn is.

I don't begrudge Totem making an extra buck for something of this quality. For me - its worth every penny.

One of the best cards I have ever seen.

So if they priced it for 15, I immediately buy. +15 for totem
If they price it for 24 I do not buy. -15 for totem.

Is this desperation? Is the product tanking. Just be transparent. If it because of worries about copyright problems, or if you had to pay some fees then be transparent. If it is a pure hope that an unestablished girl in any entertainment industry is going to somehow be the most popular card then it is fantasy. Demo was uninspiring, she nearly fell over....and a despite the novelty, this is still istripper where eye contact, seduction, and dance skills win out.

Some of you are wondering why Harley XX card is more expensive and I agree that you deserve some explanations.

Actually this card is absolutely one of a kind :

• Une lignCosplay has not been cheap! We have created all special pieces of this outfit like the baseball bat and the t-shirt. And you can believe me when I tell you that was hell of a job! e
• The makeup is quite particular and asked lot of time to our make up artist. And you know that time is money.
• The card layout is unique and can trully be considered like a collector item
• We have created lot of artworks with this card like wallpapers, special skin (available soon), etc.
• And finally we know we have a high demand on this cosplay since the Harley Quinn madness is in full swing.

Not sure that Totem makes so little money that they cannot afford to give a little extra for costumes once in a while without raising the price, but Ok.

And yes sometimes prices are higher for things just because it is popular. so Ok.

However, I really do think that Totem could have let us know about this in advance or at least mentioned it with the release.

All the recent changes to software and web site, and now the higher prices for cards whenever Totem feels like they can justify it, I have to say I am sincerely disappointed.

Oh I will keep buying your cards but somehow it is just not as much fun as it used to be.

yes, I agree. As much as I'm enjoying this card, it was a big PR-mistake by totem to not even say something about the unusual pricing in advance.
Plus I can't imagine, that this outfit was that expansive. The only official reason that feels plausible is the makeup. Why would I even pay for a skin or wallpapers by buying a card?! Maybe I'd even buy an official skin but not by buying a card. That's all but not transparency.
Again, I've no problem to give more money for special cards but it should be with some comprehensible reasons given in advance.

This card is just too expensive...............Totem are likely to lose customers big time if they continue like this!

Oh my god. Some of you need to get a grip. One of the biggest movies of the summer is coming out and you call ***** murder for Totem trying to capitalize on it just like any other BUSINESS. I don't know this model but I have to say this is definitely a good copy. I actually questioned myself if the real actoress was used but I knew that had to be impossible. This is definitely a novelty card and I think Totem should charge more for it.

A: Advance notice could have been used to build anticipation and excitement for this card. Some thoughtful marketing of the special nature of the card would have a good effect for significantly higher sales. Notice how big media companies create an exciting spin.

B: Instead, we got a lame sounding, after event excuse prompted by complaints.

Totem, which would you rather have. A or B?

I hope this incident teachs Totem to respect and trust its customers more. Remember, we are actually on your side and want and love great products.

And this should be the reason? Here, where I live, there's no matter if it's big blockbuster for hundreds milllions or some crappy, low-budget romantic comedy - tickets in cinemas have the same price.

Nobody has a gun to your head saying buy this card or else. End of story. End of the day its your choice.

I believe the last time Totem did a premium card was when they issued the card with four girls on a single card (Sex On the Beach). That made some sense, since the costs of four girls is certainly more than one. Now we have the same kind of price increase because of a costume and make-up? I'm not buying. Maybe we should get a price reduction on all bikini cards- certainly not a lot of costume being used there. Maybe Totem is trying to see if their customers are price sensitive- let them know you are!

16,5 (1,65 old system) credits as a tripple diamond would be ok for this card. For 22 as a triple diamond I wont buy this card. 22 would be ok for a duo or triplett card not for a solo card.

What you get from Totem is bargain at these prices. I didn't have any problem with the price of this card, I bought it without hesitation.

I think I would pay 26 credits for the barroness again before I buy this...Sorry. I love Sabresse in everything she did BTW.

I'm torn as I want this card but I ***** the random price hike. Are they going to jack up the price any time they think a card will be popular?

Unrelated to the price, I'm curious as to why they decided to go with the red and yellow colors rather than the original red and blue of the movie. It's not a huge deal but if they are going to blatantly "parody" a popular character so closely that they need a disclaimer why not match these details? The Axel Braun porn parody movie didn't seem to care about copying these small details.

while i ***** the new look of harley for the movie , i think she looks like a juggalette. this card seems totally worth it to me and while the price differential did give me pause, it did not stop me
at the nd of the day a girl with a solid, sensual performance and nice cans decides me every time. just my two cents.

I fell into the category of "OMG it's the Harley Quinn card" and just hit download without checking the price. I wasn't too happy when I noticed how much I paid.

The makeup, hair and costume are all amazing but what saved me from being angry that I paid extra was the model who did a fantastic job, she is very energetic and used the props very well. To me this should be the normal standard of creativity that Totem should have to create a POD with other adult sites.

Lately you have provided some very beatiful models but the standard of direction in the shows is very boring, the routines are so similar, no theme to them like this card has.

What I am now annoyed about is the explanation provided for why this card is more expensive. I understand the props and the makeup took extra effort but I still don't see that as a reason for the higher price tag. The card layout does not seem that much different that it makes it a "collectors" item, it's just the model on a coloured background in costume.

I can afford the extra, I didn't check the price, it would of been there so I can't say I got rippped off. Had the model not done an amazing job I may be feeling differently. This card is the one that Totem could have used to promote their site, it could of got extra people interested but how many will be put off by the price ?? ..

I am happy with the card, the model made the show so I feel I got value for money but I am not sure I am overly happy with the reasoning.

I bought it and had not noticed the higher price, but I'm not surprised it was higher price considering its a unquie card.

What i do like and i hope this becomes standard across the board and not just for this "special card" but also for the rest of the cards and even older ones, is the full size image with the description on the left side of the istripper program. That looks a lot better than the small image of before.

I first download VG (a long time ago) because of the costumes. That is what I really want from VG. So if the only way we can get costumes like before is by paying more then by all means charge me more. Please, please give us more cosplay!

By the way, some action poses would have been nice in the bonus pictures since this is an action heroine/villain (is hero now the correct word for female hero's?)

I think you mean the "use slider console in store" option on the advanced settings tab. That effects how card info is desplayed. Full gui or right side.

Members then ***** about it because they didn't like the price difference and are thinking they're owed full disclosure.

They told you about the price difference by simply putting the price up. Just like they do with every other card. They shouldn't have to tell you to read the price first. That's on you.
