I have also used pre-paid cards and am having the same problem, apparently it's related to a US restriction.
...
Wyldanimal made a good suggestion but I would have the same problem purchasing that card as I have purchasing credits directly.
American Express Serve© Accounts available to U.S. residents who are over 18 years old only (or 19 in certain states) and for use virtually anywhere American Express© Cards are accepted worldwide, subject to verification. Fees apply. Other eligibility and restrictions apply. See the American Express Serve Consumer User Agreement for details.
you need to set up direct transfers from your Bank Account.I appreciate your suggestions, but the issue is I am not willing to use my Bank Account, either via direct transfers or via a credit card linked to my account. I have used prepaid gift cards for years, now they don't work because the laws have changed and the billers are all outside the US. Paypal could be an option for me but it seems to work for some and not for others.
So Unlike a Gift card that has complete Anonymity, ( and the reason for the Money Laundering issues the Laws have been in place since 2012, but are now strickly enforced.)
you can't hide the money used by them, because you have to register it to your Person.
and that money can be tracked to you.
