"V" does not appear in systray Forum / Für neue Benutzer

After instaling Deskbabes, my virtuagirl "V" in the systray disappered. So I uninstalled Deskbabes, and virtuagirl. I reinstalled Virtuagirl don't have the V appear in the systray like it did before I installed Deskbabes. Any Help would be apprceated, to get it working again.

Hello @rec0n21, possible there are only a little system problem, reinstall VG first, no need uninstall, and restart your computer.
control you have not a problem with your memory, exemple the virtual memory are in a bad hardrive.

An obvious but often overlooked possibility is that it is hiding in the "unused icons" section of the task bar, just click on the arrow on the immediate left of the right hand icons. If it is hiding there click on customize and change to "show always"

If you start it from the start menu, does it appear briefly and disappear?
Check that you have all the expected files under "Program Files"\vghd. The program files folder varies by Windows version, it might be "Program Files (x86)".
There should be around 11 DLLs, one or more uninstallers, vghd.exe, vghd.scr and VirtuaGirl_Downloader.exe.
Check that you have still have the animation files. This will be under your "My Documents" folder, your account, apps, roaming (again exact name depends on your Windows version and in this case, if you chose a different location at install time. These can be very large. You might want to backup to avoid having to download again.
