Someone needs to tell them that porn has advanced since 1985.

They desperately need to check out some JOI videos, i.e. the Playtime series as well as the solo videos the girls have done for their own sites.

I agree. The expectations I had for Deskbabes have not really been met. It seems like Virtuagirl and Deskbabes are two extremes and not complements of each other by which I mean I assumed the girls here would come out dancing then go to the heavy stuff, not come out with dildos and just rub themselves to death. Deskbabes needs massive improvement to get it anywhere close to the top quality porn we all know how to get for free. Whether Totem wants to make the effort to do that remains to be seen.

if the newest deskbabes show(Sarah card 33) is an indicator the idea to reduce sound has been put in the trash can where it belongs. But the quality has to improve. The sound should at least be in sync with the video.

I hope you are right, but card 33 should have been shot 8 or 9 months ago. It's not really an indication of what will be done with future shoots.

The fact that they have even suggested limiting sound is troubling. It indicates a misguided desire to cut corners even more, while continuing to charge a premium price without any discounting.

That's not a sustainable winning strategy in my view, and not an approach that will broaden the appeal of this product beyond the existing membership over the longer term.

He didn't however say all clips just all shows. So this leaves some room for speculation. But that Sarahs show has sound in all (or almost all) clips is encouraging. All shows released at the moment have been shot some months ago and i think Totem has the sound for these shows it's just the question of applying if correctly to the edited clips. And it's surely more work to do this for all clips than only for the x-rated ones. But after our clearly expressed wish to have sound in all clips this show again has sound in (almost) all clips.

Yes, Sarah's solo 33 seems to have got the gist of this better than some other DB cards I could mention. I hope Totem re edit 33's sound even if just to apply the right tracks to at least 2 of the clips there. Its good the Shoot Team responded at least with something better this week. Regarding the age of shoots, I don't know how much poorly directed work remains to be cleared from their stockpile but I'll say this much. If there is audio from the girls in a different language than english...please DO NOT edit or blank it out @Rex. French, Czech, English, Spanish etc. or at least have a good interpreter on standby. I sometimes wonder if this is always the case. If not, it may be a lame leg for Totem's efficient progress into the future.
