I'm taking a class in international marketing and at the moment I'm studying the topic of whether/when to modify advertising to suit the culture. Some cultures are sensitive about language, some not.

@syef mentioned, "Please more talk and teasing from the girls, even if i don't understand what they are saying" -- interesting; I agree, but I wonder how many feel the same way?

I would leave sound turned on only if...

70 Stimmen

the models say to each other is in a language that I understand (even if dubbed)
7%
the content was not dubbed (even if it was in another language)
50%
subtitles were available
3%
my speakers were on (don't care what they do language-wise as long as it's hot)
37%
"pigs fly" (i.e. I would never turn on sound no matter what)

Doubling? It would be ridiculous, false hear groans.
Better not understand, and believe that those of the models are true (?).
At least that is their voice.
I voted for second option.

You have two options that are almost same.Content not dubbed (any language)and no care what language as long as hot.I voted for first before seeing other. But is basically same thing. We already expect the sound to be hot.

@kjohnn similar but different. The former implies that if the dialogue was replaced with your preferred language, you would be reluctant to turn on the sound. The latter indicates you would enable sound either way. Now of *course* both can be appeased by making dubbing optional, and *of course* Totem wouldn't release anything that didn't sound hot. If Totem were to consider some creative solutions such as monolingual performances (separate performances in English and in French, which can be costly) or subtitles instead of dubbing and preserve the sound track, they would be able to see from this poll just how important the original soundtrack is to the voters.

At the moment:
39% say they would be fine with dubbed audio (including 2 "don't care" categories)
93% say they would be fine hearing the original performance sound track (including 2 "don't care" categories)

Those that will listen either way and those who won't listen either way make up 31% of the sample, and really those two choices are the ones that are the same.

62% prefer the actual performance sound track and don't find value in dubbing
8% are bothered by hearing a conversation they don't understand

Agree 100% with @alcetas and @syef.
I voted also for the second option.
@Gardner, you see the results of the poll:)No need any comment.

Dub would ruin the show because another girl's voice would take the place of the origional. It's like watching a really good Japaneese animation movie and then watching the engilsh dub version, kinda takes the bite out of the origional actors. So I also go with option 2.

In Germany all films are dubbed and in many cases that's a good thing.
Arnold Schwarzenegger for example has a much cooler voice than in original.
And i remember that the actress who played Scully in the X Files said she liked her german voice the best.
Or ALF my one of my favourite series was a much bigger success in Germany than America because of the great voice actors we had
Also this enables some cool things like having audio books read by the voice actors of famous Hollywood Stars. For example i have a classic novel from Jules Verne read by the voice of Elijah Wood. Or The Simarillion as audio book read by the voice of Ian McKellen
Or car navigation with the voice of Bruce Willis(at least for all Germans it's the voice of Bruce Willis) That's quite cool really.

On the other hand we are not that good with english as people from countries that only get subtitles on all foreign films. We just don't need it that much than these people. So many forget most of it after school.

But for the girls and VG i wouldn't like dubbing, it would be ridiculous.
Maybe subtitles..but that would also look weird.

Just keep it real maybe it could be just the start of learning new languages..moaning should be very easy to understand than teasing dirty talking would become a sweeter challenge..
If you want to include subtitles please add an easy option to disable them (by default) before..
