There's been some great points on both sides of the argument and a couple of good ideas as well.
I really think that just adding a few minutes to the average shows runtime would make everything better.

Let's say an even 40 minute show.Twelve minutes standing and twelve minutes for pole clips. More or less of one or the other depending on the girls comfort or talents (a good point from @Philours) but 24 minutes average devoted either way. Just like a regular Istripper show give or take and double the average xxx show.

Costumes, props, chairs, furniture type shows, glass cleaning, swing clips, maybe even the cage ( wasn't a fan but I've read that some people miss it) could all factor in this timeframe for added variety.

That leaves sixteen minutes for sequential table stripping clips followed by xxx or whatever. Not really a loss for xxx fans and there is leeway to add more for machine gimmicks or whatever else floats your boat.

@Bitwrangler is right xxx isn't going anywhere and I think I've realized throughout all of my "*****" this was going to be a losing battle. In fact ironically my proposal here may have made it so that every card from now on would be a xxx card if this were to happen. Oh well I am asking for a compromise after all.

I don't think that a average 40 minute show would be too taxing in the long run to make this happen. It keeps the formula basically as it is except that nothing has to be cut out or half assed and everyone gets plenty out of every show and every beautiful woman whether a xxx fan or not.

This will all of course be up to the team whether this is feasible or not but I hope that it could happen in some form or other.

I stopped buying credits for a couple years while spending down the credits I already had on hand and once those credits were gone I spent another 9 months deciding if I would ever buy credits again. I didn't feel the need to buy credits anymore and just thought of every card as an exclusive card. But in the end I found myself loosing interest in my collection; it's just wasn't as much fun unless I had something to look forward to so I decided I'll buy $100 credits and have been spending them SLOWLY.

Not sure if this would work for anyone else but it's working for me; I'm still supporting the product but at a fraction of what I would like too. It keeps my interested in my collection and still have something to look forward to. Not sure about the future but for now I'm happy to kick in $100 a year for old times sake alone. I don't think DOLZ will be around in a couple of years but if it is then IS probably wont be around. I don't see anyway they can coexist in the long run so I'll never hold too many credits again but $100 I can live with losing if it comes down to that.

If it's all or nothing I totally get that but ***** to lose good members.

I decided to crunch some numbers in order to have some data to go off of. I used table clips rather than explicit clips. Partially because that was part of the original post (table clips don't provide the same type of entertainment compared to standing & pole). Additionally, many cards have non-explicit table clips that are effectively explicit (dildo bj, masturbation without penetration, etc).

I analyzed every show from last month, December 2023:

• There were 32 cards in total, including the Christmas SEC.
• The total runtime was 18 hours, 57 minutes. Average of 35m32s.
• There were 24 explicit and 8 non-explicit cards.
• Explicit cards averaged slightly longer at 36m compared to 34m for non-explicit.
• Of all cards, 54% of the time (10 hours, 10 minutes) were table clips. This is an average of 19m per card

Breaking it down further:

• From the non-explicit cards, 36% of the time (avg 12m12s) was from table clips.
• These ranged from a low of 27% (e1926) to a high of 44% (e1940).
• From the explicit cards, 59% of the time (avg 21m17s) was from table clips.
• These ranged from a low of 41% (f1426)** to a high of 100% (f1454).
• Excluding the table only card, there were 2 next highest at 71% each (f1397 & f1462).
• Only 4 XXX cards have less than 50% table. All are over 40% table (or explicit when accounting for the note below)
• The average explicit card has less than 15m of standing/pole clips.
** The actual lowest was 35% from f1428, BUT the last clip is a standing explicit clip with a machine. Including this brings it up to 49%. I used the 35% in the cumulative calculations above though.

My overall point is I just believe a little balance would go a long way. Instead of table xxx clips that occupy more than half the show only leaving a handful of minutes for everything else. Standing and pole stripteases should be just as important as well as the costume or outfit that the model is wearing should get adequate screen time before the fun begins. Trimming each of the xxx clips by even just a few minutes would go a long way (I think any clip more than 5 min long that isn't a full beginning to end strip is too long) If you don't agree maybe extending the shows by several more minutes could be a solution so nothing will have to be cut out at all. I'm not talking one hour shows or anything but 40-42 min wouldn't be stretching it too far I don't think.

@Philours I get your point but I would argue that more of these models talents have been ***** on xxx shows (and don't get me started on outfits and especially cosplays) then the other way around. Even if a girl can't "dance" they're still gorgeous strutting around, posing, and showing off their beautiful bodies in and out of the various outfits and costumes. Azella to use a recent example was completely awkward and couldn't dance to save her life. But the shows were charming, refreshing and above all she was gorgeous with a perfect little body. We don't need them to be pro dancers to enjoy them dancing it's still more entertaining to me than having her sit in one spot for 5-6 shows diddling herself.

Surely having, say, TWO normal cards and three XXX cards instead of one and four wouldn't be so awful? Because it would be quite an improvement for us normal card fans. You can always regret the lack of striptease when a girl has the skills required to put on a good show like this. But admit that this kind of girl is quite rare. So rather than seeing a girl hang on to the pole dancing pole and spin in circles indefinitely, I prefer a good x scene.
Outfits ruined by only table cards? You can always tell that this outfit would have been better used in a more erotic show. But that's just a personal assessment. Currently the best outfits are going on nft, so maybe you should consider this option?

For what it's worth, I also like the normal cards more.

After seeing a girl masturbate on the desktop for 15 minutes I'm simply not that interested in similar shows anymore (especially since the outfit is mostly gone at that point anyway).

I've bought much less in the last few years, but I don't know if that's the only reason for that or not.

The shader holdname3a.fsh was quite possibly derived from some code from @TheEmu originally and then hacked about by me in my usual messy way.

If you want to "increase the opacity" - I assume you mean "decrease the alpha" so that the name is more transparent you could try adding the line...

gl_FragColor.a *= 0.5;

...just before the final closing bracket in the code. This will halve the alpha level of whatever is output. You could hack this "0.5" about to get the level of opacity you want from 0... completely invisible to 1... unchanged.

It's also worth noting that most of the top rated cards on here are non-XXX. Models like Lana Lane, Belka, Gloria, etc are mostly/all non-XXX. Can you enlighten me a little as to the code in a (fairly simple) shader?

I have downloaded @Calgon Carousel_1_12, and tried to understand the shader holdname3a.fsh.
It would simplify a lot of my permanent name code which I adopted from @TheEmu many moons ago.
However, it does not appear possible for me to increase the opacity of the permanent names developed by use of the shader.

Would a different holdname shader be more amenable?

I just thought I'd throw this out there and see what everyone thinks. I have been a subscriber for over 15 years. I own every card just about (I think) and I love the neverending stream of stunning women and the overall content. Over the last couple years I have become a little frustrated with the content shift to xxx and I have been expressing it by commenting on the individual shows. Just a FYI I DO enjoy xxx and taskbar content (some of it anyway) I just believe that the focus is shifting too much in that direction and other content such as dancing and standing/pole stripping and teasing is shortened or cut out entirely. Recently I've been getting called out as being a "complainer." This in and out of itself doesn't bother me but it does raise the question. Do I ***** too much in everyone's opinion? Just to be clear I have NOT NOR WOULD I EVER call for certain content to be taken out entirely just because I don't like it. We're all different and I appreciate that there's something for everyone's tastes and fancies.That's why I am still here after all these years..However am I the only one that thinks that every xxx show has the same repetitive content that occupies way too much time out of shows that are only on average a half hour to begin with? Is there any compromise or ways to improve this formula to maybe balance it a bit or add more variety so to speak? Are there others besides me that would like the "Stripper" part of Istripper to be more utilized again? I am, shocking no one, with @jclown781. The stripping and dancing in the regular cards is unique to iStripper and provides an experience that you can get nowhere else. The XXX, well, not so much. It's clear, though, that the XXX cards are outselling the regular ones, probably substantially. If a model is willing to do XXX cards, we will, at BEST, get one regular card to 4 or 5 XXX cards. Assuming they aren't all XXX cards, as has happened more than once. And to make room for 15 minutes of XXX content on these cards you have to cut out a lot.

I wish they would do more balanced releases between regular and XXX cards for each model. But I don't think I am going to get my wish. Fortunately I have more than a thousand 3 or 4K regular cards which can provide a good deal of consolation. I just don't think they're going to get a lot of new company.

You actually offer your thoughts & opinions on the contents of the cards, which is much more helpful & valuable when compared to many of the other reviews. Some others may not agree with your opinion, but that doesn't make it any less valid. You're offering feedback to Totem & other users through the method that they provided, you're doing nothing wrong imo.

I agree with the others as well. The dancing/stripping is one of the things that makes this product unique. There are 1000 other websites you can visit if all you want to see is a girl crawling around pleasing herself. As others mentioned, mixing the dancing with XXX content is good, but it is best when balanced properly.

Personally, my preference would be for all cards to be full 30+ minute striptease shows, and then XXX is just an added bonus (extra clips/time) for some cards. Even if that meant that the longer XXX cards cost more than non-XXX cards, I would be ok with that.

I don't agree. They are XXX cards and as such there should be always more XXX content in the card then other content. Totem does that what sells best, not what some of us would like to see more.
Also the whole comment and rating system of the cards is most useless and should be canceled and replaced by something else.

There has certainly been more of a shift towards "XXX / XXX table" cards (f-cards) at the expense of "standing / dancing / pole dancing / stripping" cards (e-cards). I do find it pretty unfortunate because many outfits don't really get taken advantage of during XXX table clips. I also like standing / dancing / stripping clips significantly more than XXX table clips.

I agree with @jclown781. Nowadays the shift is towards f-cards. In most cases a model does now 1 e-card and 5 f-cards. At least half of the time is spent on XXX-table clips. With the focus on the XXX-table clips the outfit is limited and with the limited outfit the stripping proces in the Standing and Pole clips is done in four or five clips.

A great card - for me the best in 2023 - was Kelly Collins/Grab My Ballastics. A great outfit with interesting in between stages with part of the outfit before getting the Nude and Real Full Nude stadium.

My wish like I have many times written in my comments: at least half of the time with Standing and Pole clips, preferably 60% or more like it was in Adel Morel/Evening Interlude. And also outfits with blouse, skirt, dress plus bra.

Models with Dance and Pole dance skills shouldn't spent too much time on the table like happened with Geishakyd. .

My complaint is that you post in one long run on Sentence and it makes it difficult to read.

I just thought I'd throw this out there and see what everyone thinks.
I have been a subscriber for over 15 years. I own every card just about (I think) and I love the neverending stream of stunning women and the overall content.
Over the last couple years I have become a little frustrated with the content shift to xxx and I have been expressing it by commenting on the individual shows.
Just a FYI I DO enjoy xxx and taskbar content (some of it anyway) I just believe that the focus is shifting too much in that direction and other content such as dancing and standing/pole stripping and teasing is shortened or cut out entirely.
Recently I've been getting called out as being a "complainer."
This in and out of itself doesn't bother me but it does raise the question.

Do I ***** too much in everyone's opinion?

Just to be clear I have NOT NOR WOULD I EVER call for certain content to be taken out entirely just because I don't like it.
We're all different and I appreciate that there's something for everyone's tastes and fancies.
That's why I am still here after all these years..

However am I the only one that thinks that every xxx show has the same repetitive content that occupies way too much time out of shows that are only on average a half hour to begin with?
Is there any compromise or ways to improve this formula to maybe balance it a bit or add more variety so to speak?
Are there others besides me that would like the "Stripper" part of Istripper to be more utilized again?
Or is this just what everyone wants another porn site that just happens to function as a screensaver?

Let me know please I admit to getting a tad frustrated writing the same criticisms day in and day out for all these shows especially if nothing will ever come of it.
If it's truly a waste of everyone's time I will stop.
