If, as @Pickle1 reports, it was a burst pipe at higher level than the Totem offices then there was no town wide "flood event" and "a simple ramp and curb" would offer no protection.

Were you using the British or American meaning of "first floor"? In the USA it would be the floor at ground level but in the UK it would normally be floor above that (though perhaps UK usage may have become looser and ambiguous in recent years).

I think it may be "high time" to relocate the offices to higher ground, or to raise the critical items (i.e. computers, servers) off the ground. 😐

It may be wise to invest in some form of "flood control" measure, like a simple ramp and curb area at the openings of the office, to contain the flood waters when it comes! 😕

I guess you'll have to upgrade to a bigger studio again! Godspeed! ✌💚😎

Terrible news! Hope all your team is okay and things get back on track soon for all of you. Can totally understand what you all must be going through as we had a similar major flood event in my town back in Feb/March 2022. Hang in there all! 😘😘😘

The studio is 5 minutes drive away from the offices - and it wasn't the weather, it appears to have been a pipe burst on the 3rd floor on Saturday - the offices are on the first floor..

She has arived .. Many thanxs .. hope tere is not to much damage !!

I was actually vacationing in Europe the last two weeks, including a couple visits to Paris. Yeah, there were a couple days with lots of rain ... although other days with very pleasant skies. Hope you resolve the flooding issue at yourstudios.

Thanks for letting us know Celine. I hope all of you are safe and that the studio can be salvaged and that new equipment can be purchased. I went through two life changing floods in 2017 and worse in 2019 in Texas and that stuff is a nightmare! Thank all of you for what you do. ❤️

After the fire in April 2018 now came the water: how strange things can be!! I hope the damage will be restricted and the insurance company will pay for the damage. Good luck and I hope you will feel okay.

Dear All,

As announced earlier today, Totem's offices have ***** a big flood during the weekend.

3 to 5 centimeters of water everywhere, including in our computers and internal servers.

After a day of intense cleaning, it seems that there is more ***** than ***** and we're currently trying to bring back electricity to our internal servers.

The only impact is that we were unable to release today's show on time but it is indeed our top priority!

Most of us are working remotely for the moment, while others continue drying computers and all at the office.

Fortunately, all our front servers are abroad which guarantees you an uninterrupted service !

Still, this event might delay some operations on iStripper as well as VRParadise and Dolz, be sure that all measures have already been taken to avoid it.

We'll keep you posted here !

While I am very sorry for the problems that occurred at the Totem offices, I am surprised that such important news has not been given here on the forum.
I, like many other members, am not (and don't want to be) on Discord, so I don't understand why Totem doesn't want to notify members on the iStripper site...

P.S.: obviously, I cant' wait to see the new cards of Agatha and Belka...

At the moment, most of the team are trying to rescue computers and other equipment.

Only @Jon is online and trying to cover everything - which was why I copied the message onto the Forum - and it was only a few minutes after Jon posted the announcement on Discord.

And maybe the servers that control dissemination of information onto the News Tab are the very ones that do not have any power in the building?

It is nothing to worry about - I think the team were just on holiday.

With all the shoots done recently, we are expecting quite a few shows to come through soon.
